DIRECTIONS TO MY OLD KENTUCKY HOME STATE PARK FROM VARIOUS LOCATIONS

**Please allow a little extra driving time because of Kentucky Derby traffic.

FROM CINCINNATI AREA

·         Take I-71 South for approx. 90-95 miles to I-265 (Gene Snyder Freeway).

·         Go south on I-265 for about 17 miles

·         Take Exit 17 (US-31E/US-150) South toward BARDSTOWN/LOUISVILLE

·         Continue on US-31E/US-150 south for approx. 26 miles to Bardstown

·         In Bardstown you'll enter a roundabout (goes around the courthouse)

·         Enter roundabout and take 2^nd exit onto E Stephen Foster Ave./US-150

·         Continue on Stephen Foster Ave. for approx. 6/10 of a mile to My Old Kentucky Home State Park.  Entrance will be on the right.

·         Rotunda (looks like a large gazebo) is behind the main building. 

FROM ST. LOUIS AREA

·         Take I-64 East toward ILLINOIS

·         Continue on I-64 for about 260 miles to I-65 South

·         Take I-65 South toward NASHVILLE

·         Stay on I-65 South for about 24 miles

·         Take the KY-245 Exit (Exit 112) toward CLERMONT/BARDSTOWN

·         Stay on KY-245 for about 15 miles to US-150

·         Turn Right onto US-150 (also 31E and N 3^rd St.)

·         Take US-150 1+ miles to roundabout (goes around courthouse)

·         Enter roundabout and take 2^nd exit onto E Stephen Foster Ave./US-150

·         Continue on Stephen Foster Ave. for approx. 6/10 of a mile to My Old Kentucky Home State Park.  Entrance will be on the right.

FROM NASHVILLE AREA

·         Take I-65 North for approx. 131 miles

·         Take Exit 93 (BLUE GRASS PARKWAY EAST)  toward BARDSTOWN/LEXINGTON

·         Continue east on BLUE GRASS PARKWAY for about 20 miles

·         Take Exit 21 (US-31E) toward BARDSTOWN/HODGENVILLE

·         Turn left onto US-31E and continue for 2+ miles

·         Enter roundabout and take 1^st exit onto E Stephen Foster Ave./US-150

·         Continue on Stephen Foster Ave. for approx. 6/10 of a mile to My Old Kentucky Home State Park.  Entrance will be on the right

FROM KNOXVILLE AREA

·         Take I-75 North toward LEXINGTON

·         After crossing into Kentucky, continue on I-75 for approx. 60 miles to Exit 59

·         Take Exit 59 (US-25/US-150) toward MT. VERNON/LIVINGSTON

·         Continue West on US-150 for about 24 miles

·         Stay straight to go on US-150 Bypass West--stay on bypass for about 3 miles

·         US-150 Bypass becomes US-150 West--stay on this for about 6.5 miles

·         Stay straight to go onto US-150 BYP West/South (Danville Bypass)--continue on this for about 5.5 miles

·         Turn LEFT onto US-150/KY-52.  Continue to follow US-150 for about 42 miles into Bardstown

·         You will come to a traffic light at the US-150 and KY-245 intersection -- continue straight through this intersection for about 1 1/2 miles to My Old Kentucky Home State Park (just past traffic light at US-150 and KY/49 intersection).  Entrance will be on the left.

·         Rotunda (looks like a large gazebo) is behind the main building.

DIRECTIONS TO THE BARDSTOWN COMFORT INN FROM LOUISVILLE AND LEXINGTON AIRPORTS

FROM LOUISVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

·        As you leave airport, take I-264 E/I-65 ramp toward DOWNTOWN.

·        Stay straight to go onto I-65 RAMP.

·        Merge onto I-65 S toward NASHVILLE/US-61.

·        Stay on I-65 for approximately 19 miles.

·        Take the KY-245 exit - exit # 112 (CLERMONT/BARDSTOWN)

·        Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take ramp toward CLERMONT/BARDSTOWN

·        Travel south on 245 for about 15 miles.

·        You'll see a Shell gas station and Hampton Inn on right.

·        Make a right turn onto next street on the right, Frost Ave.

·        Comfort Inn will be on the right. (If you go over RR tracks, you've gone too far.)

FROM LEXINGTON BLUEGRASS AIRPORT

·        Turn left out of airport onto Man O' War Blvd.

·        Continue a short distance on Man O' War until it ends.

·        Turn left onto Versailles Rd. (Rt. 60)

·        Continue on Versailles for about 4 1/2 miles to the Bluegrass Parkway. (Sign will say, LAWRENCEBURG, ELIZABETHTOWN, AND (BG) BLUEGRASS PARKWAY.)

·        Make a right turn onto the Bluegrass Parkway.

·        Continue on BG Pkwy. for 47 miles.

·        Take exit 25. (Sign will say RT. 150, SPRINGFIELD, BARDSTOWN.)

·        Turn right off exit ramp onto Rt. 150.

·        Drive about 1/4 mile on Rt. 150 to Rt. 245 (Rowan Blvd.)

·        Turn right onto Rt. 245 and drive about 3 1/2 miles.

·        Turn left onto Frost Avenue (just after you cross RR tracks; Taco Bell will be on the corner).

·        Comfort Inn will be on the right.
